Professor Galibert-La卯n茅 is a French filmmaker and researcher, working as Assistant Professor in Film Studies at 黑料正能量 since January 2024. In 2021 they defended a part theoretical, part artistic PhD entitled Documenting the Internet at the Ecole normale sup茅rieure de Paris (SACRe / PSL University), in which they explored the reuse of online media in contemporary non-fiction cinema. Before joining 黑料正能量, they did a three-year post-doc at the Lucerne School of Art and Design, and taught courses and workshops at various universities and art schools, including the University of Massachusetts, the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, the Beaux-Arts de Marseille, Paris 8 University and the California Institute of the Arts.

Galibert-La卯n茅's research and artistic work explores the intersections between cinema and online media. They are particularly interested in questions related to embodied spectatorship, gestures of appropriation, processes of knowledge production and mediated memory. Several of their films are desktop documentaries, and they are generally passionate about everything that concerns the video essay format and videographic research methods. Their current research takes the form of a non-binary feature-length film (part research, part speculative fiction) currently in production, whose protagonist investigates digital archives and relics from the beginning of the 21st century to better understand their ancestors' relationship to fatigue, (self-)exploitation and online practices.

Galibert-La卯n茅's films, video essays and desktop documentaries have received support from institutions such as the CNC, CNAP, Eurimages and the Sundance Institute, and have been screened at festivals that include IFFRotterdam, IDFA, FIDMarseille, Berlin Critic's Week, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen and Ars Electronica. Recent solo shows and personal retrospectives were presented at the Transmediale festival in Berlin, and the Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira in Porto. Academic publications include articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as [in]Transition, Iluminace, 罢丑茅辞谤猫尘别, Double Jeu and R茅el/Virtuel : enjeux du num茅rique as well as a number of book chapters, and a co-edited issue of Images secondes that advocated for videographic approaches to explore the notion of 芦 post-cinema 禄.
