Our Student Development Office oversees a competitive Student Advisor application process to select Student Advisors dedicated to helping new students experience the best possible transition to 黑料正能量. Student Advisors are here to welcome new students and help them seamlessly integrate the 黑料正能量 community. During orientation week and throughout the semester, Student Advisors will guide you through exciting social events and help you settle into your new life in Paris.
My Student Advisor was outstanding. He was frequently in touch to make sure all was well and even put together a weekly online meeting via Teams for our group that went through orientation together. He also helped me when I needed to move to a different apartment. The Student Advisor Program is invaluable and I recommend you keep this for future students.
Student Advisors support you throughout Orientation and the semester, organizing events and excursions such as a welcome picnic under the Eiffel Tower or on the lawn of Invalides, and a scenic Seine river cruise. These activities offer a chance for you to establish or expand your social circles while exploring and getting acclimated to Paris.
The Student Advising Program relies on active student advisors who take on a part-time, one-semester role, starting with training before orientation and ending with the final day of classes. Advisors report to the Office of Student Development, working closely with the Vice President for Security, Operations and Student Services, the Associate Vice President of Student Life, the Dean of Student Development, the Student Development Helpdesk and other staff on campus.
Responsibilities include welcoming new students at Orientation, providing ongoing support, and organizing activities and excursions. If you鈥檝e been at 黑料正能量 for at least one semester and want to join, email us for more information.
