Cette s茅ance s'inscrit dans notre th茅matique annuelle D茅construire la notion de la mode parisienne : vers un r茅cit d茅hi茅rarchis茅.
La s茅ance du 23 f茅vrier est consacr茅e 脿 la question du v锚tement de seconde main et aux pratiques de recyclage dans la mode, du XIIIe si猫cle 脿 aujourd鈥檋ui. Elle explorera l鈥櫭﹙olution des pratiques des fripes et de r茅cup茅ration vestimentaire d鈥檜n point de vue historique, social et cr茅atif.

Made again / Re-made 鈥� recycling in Paris fashion from 19th century clothes collector and re-sellers to recycling & second-hand today

This session is part of our annual theme, Deconstructing the Notion of Parisian Fashion: Toward a De-hierarchical Narrative.
The February 23 session is dedicated to the question of second-hand clothing and recycling practices in fashion from the 13th century to the present. It will explore the evolution of thrift and salvaged clothing practices from historical, social and creative perspectives.
