“A private tasting session was held on October 20th at a Nicolas boutique, located rue de Vaugirard in Paris 15ème. Thanks to its owner, Sylvie, the former sommelier of well-known, London-based restaurants, we got to discover some of France’s best wines.
After having tasted some typical Mâcon-Villages wines, Sylvie introduced us to a splendid St. Nicolas de Bourgeuil 2015 (Val-de-Loire region). We continued our Tour de France as we enjoyed a well-rounded Château Bois de la Garde 2012 (Rhône region). As our event was drawing to a close, we tasted a 2012 Château Haut-Canteloup from Bordeaux.
A special thank you to Sylvie for having privatized the store just for us, and for taking the time to walk us through some of France’s best wine regions.”
