This intensive study trip offers an in-depth overview of management,NGO and public policy responses to climate change and human impacts on the environment, with high ranking experts in these sectors offering insights into the latest solutions and management practices. On our first day, explore landscape and spatial planning in Amersfoort. Next, explore water management, biodiversity and engineering with natural elements in Friesland. Following, examine new models of energy production and technologies in Delft and The Hague. Finally, examine the 鈥榮mart city鈥 model in Amsterdam. This trip explores test cases, in a highly developed country, on possible reactions to emergent and complex situations due to climate change and other environmental impacts of human activities.
