La Vierge, les Coptes et Moi聽(2011) is a light-hearted comedy about relations between Europe and the Arab world written and directed by Egyptian director Namir Abdel Messeeh. It looks at the position of the Christian minority population in Egypt through an autobiographical lens, and is 'a family trip, a road movie, a documentary, an investigation, a film about film-making, and many other things,' in the words of one critic.
La Vierge, les Coptes et Moi聽has been shown at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, the Sydney Film Festival In Australia, and various other festivals worldwide.聽
