FB9 PY1091 Introduction To Memory Studies
This trip takes you to the Ardèche Valley to see the newly created replica of one of France’s most unique and earliest ‘places of memory’ – the 35,000 year-old Grotte Chauvet-Pont d’Arc, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and museum featuring stunning Paleolithic cave paintings. Hike and take a light kayak ride under the famous archway over the Ardeche River. The trip concludes with a tour of the historical ruins in the beautiful city of Avignon.
