Summer Program Trip

Champagne

Saturday, July 8, 2017 - 00:00

Champagne, the region between Lorraine and Paris, is the only internationally recognized source of real champagne. Learn about the rigorous méthode champenoise that has made this wine so special that it has come to symbolize the essence of celebration the world over. The drive takes you through the region’s rolling hills to Reims where you start the day with a visit to the city’s famous Notre Dame de Reims, one of France’s largest and beautiful cathedrals. Afterwards, take a guided cellar tour of a well-known champagne house. Enjoy a 3-course lunch at a local restaurant before visiting a small, family-owned champagne production, which includes another tasting. Plan to return to Paris in the evening.

Minimum: 20 participants
Maximum: 35 participants

Cost:€ 135 (includes private coach transportation, 3-course lunch, entrance fees, guided visits, and tastings)
